Mod Human is a specialty shop offering distinctive vintage attire and accessories from the 1920s – 1980s for the stylish woman seeking a modern approach in vintage wear. All pieces are hand-selected based on its relevancy in today’s fashion and quality. At Mod Human, all clothing and accessories are inspected, repaired if needed and cleaned to provide our customers with merchandise that is vintage however with a ‘like-new’ experience.
Originally beginning as a hobby, Mod Human was created by Kelly Johnson in 2006 while studying Psychology at a local University and working part time as a visual designer for a major woman’s retail company. Always having a strong interest in vintage fashion and design, in 2008 Kelly began to developed Mod Human into a brand and officially went into business opening an online vintage shop in the Etsy community. While running her online shop as a full time job, Kelly also works as a stylist and photographer using her collection of vintage merchandise as props and creating looks for clients. Aside from her passion for all things vintage, Kelly enjoys knitting scarves for friends and eating frozen yogurt with her husband and son.
